All production gear, medium format systems, continuous lighting, and dedicated studio spaces are leased subject to strict insurance validation, security clearance, and technical handoff verification.

Identity & Account Verification
All first-time hirers must complete verified vetting at least 24 hours prior to collection. Standard vetting requires a valid South African Green Barcoded ID or Smart ID Card, or an original valid International Passport for foreign nationals, accompanied by proof of residential address (not older than 3 months) and matching banking credentials.

Security Deposits & Pre-Authorisation
A mandatory security deposit pre-authorisation is processed on a credit or debit card registered under the verified hirer's legal name prior to dispatch. Deposit amounts scale with the insurance replacement value of the hired equipment package and are released within 48 to 72 business hours post-inspection return.

Collection & Return Inspections
Equipment may be collected between 15:00 and 17:30 on the afternoon prior to the booked rental date, and must be returned by 10:00 AM on the scheduled return date. Both handover and check-in require physical item-by-item verification, sensor cleanliness checks, and lens optical assessment signed by both parties.

Damage Waiver & Liability
The hirer assumes absolute legal responsibility for equipment custody throughout the hire tenure. Standard rental charges do not include comprehensive marine/water or aerial transit cover unless specifically endorsed. Any physical trauma, optical coating scratch, or moisture ingress will be billed at full certified repair or replacement cost plus downtime compensation.

Late Surcharges & Cancellations
Unauthorised late returns directly compromise subsequent production bookings. Returns received after 10:30 AM incur a 50% single-day surcharge, while returns exceeding 13:00 PM are billed at a full daily rate plus administrative penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled collection forfeit 50% of the total hire fee.
